TI-83 Assembly

Here's my collection of TI-83 Assembly Games! I have them arranged with the oldest at the bottom, and the newest at the top. This way, you don't have to scroll through all of the old stuff to find something you haven't seen yet. Anywone got an ASM Game I don't? Send it to me!

The Concordia Virus (virus.zip) Next to Nothing My first ASM Program!!!!!! It is SO FUNNY if you can pull it off! It's not a real virus, but slip it onto someone's calculator and ask them what "RUNME1ST" is. They'll run it, and watch their face! He he he!!! Rating--******

Boreal: BETA 4 (borealb4.zip) (screenshot) Doesn't matter: it's an OS, reset your calc. This is the best GUI for the TI I've seen. It now uses some ASM to make the pointer move fast. It is just like Windows 95, and from the Setup menu you can actually shut down the calc (another ASM goodie). Not many games for it yet, but Jareth Software, the creator, has converted some of Bill Nagel's excellent ASM games to Boreal format, and is converting others! Rating--*****

Nibbles 83Z (nibbles8.zip) Appx. 4500 This one is right up there with Pong 83Z. Another assembly game by the same guy (see Bill's TI Page in the link section). A version of Snake where the tail actually disappears behind you. 5 speed settings, and 9 levels each! Rating--****** (I can't help but give 6 stars to these games)

Pong 83Z ()pong83z.zip) Appx. 5000 THIS GAME ROCKS!!!! This game is the reason Turbo Breakout 1 got bumped back down to 5 stars. This is awesome. Assembly programming makes this one super fast. Play with 1 or 2 balls (no pun intended) on 3 speeds! Plus, direct input gets rid of the delay when you try to move, it's FAST.Rating--*****

Tetris83Z (tetris83.zip) Appx. 5000 Here's the second TI-83 Assembly Language game created, and it's EXTREMELY addictive. This is the only good version of Tetris I've seen on the TI-83. This actually moves as fast as the real Tetris did! Rating--*****

Turbo Breakout (tbout.zip) (screenshot) Appx. 5000 Well, I loved this game, but it's been outdone. The first Z80 Assembly Language game released and it is still very cool, but seems slow when compared to Nibbles83Z and Pong83Z. You must see it, however, because I think it's the best sort of game in ASM. Hopefully will be updated soon to be as fast as the others. Rating--*****

Turbo Breakout 2 (tbout2.zip) Appx. 5500 GET THIS TOO! Forget about TBO1, it's worthless compared to this (Sorry, Bill)!!! It has 22 levels (I designed level 14 *PLUG PLUG*) and 5 speeds!!! Rating--******
